When your website can't do what your business needs, we build one that can.
Slow pages, missing features, plugin workarounds that almost work: those are template problems, and no amount of tweaking fixes them. We hand-build websites and light web apps around your business. The stack always depends on the project, and we choose what fits best.
The real problem: your site can't do the one thing you need it to do
It usually starts with a simple request. A quote calculator. Bookings that sync with your calendar. Pages that load fast on a phone. The plugin almost does it, the workaround sort of holds, and the monthly app fees keep stacking up. That's the ceiling every template eventually hits.
A custom build has no ceiling. If your business needs it, we can build it. That's the whole point of writing the code by hand.
What a custom build actually gives you
Five things you get here that no template can deliver.
A plan before any code
We start by mapping what the site needs to do for your business. Only then do we choose the tools. The stack depends on the project, never on habit.
Pages built around your business
Every page is written for your brand and your message, not assembled from a theme with the logo swapped in.
Direct connections to your tools
Bookings, payments, CRM, inventory. We wire them in directly instead of stacking plugins that break every update.
Speed your visitors can feel
Fast pages keep people on your site and rank better on Google. We build for speed from the first line of code, not as a fix later.
A site you own outright
Clean, documented code that any developer can take over. No lock-in to us, ever.
The stack depends on your project
There is no single stack we force on every build. These are the tools we work with, and we choose the mix that fits what your project actually needs.
We also build on Webflow, Framer, Wix, and Squarespace. Those platform builds have their own dedicated pages under Development.
How a custom build runs
We start with your problem, not our tools
First we pin down what the site has to do for your business. Then we match the stack to it. Whatever fits best wins, every time.
Everything is built to match your brand
Buttons, forms, menus and cards are coded for your brand from scratch. Nothing is a recolored template part.
We test it, then show you proof
Before launch we test speed, accessibility and search readiness against Google's own checks, and you see the scores yourself.
Questions we get asked
Straight answers, since most of these come up before someone signs up, not after.
Don't see yours? .
Why not just use WordPress or a page builder?
Both are great when they fit, and we build on them too. A custom build is for when the site needs something a template genuinely can't deliver: custom features, serious speed requirements, or an interface no theme supports.
What determines which stack you use?
The project, every time. There is no single stack we force on every build. Astro is our usual pick for content-focused marketing sites because it produces very fast pages, React fits interactive app-like builds, and plain hand-written code covers the rest. We choose what fits your project best.
Will I be able to edit content myself after launch?
Yes, if you need to. We can connect the site to an editing dashboard so your team updates pages without touching code, or keep it fully static if the content rarely changes. We agree on this with you before anything is built.
Can you connect the site to our existing tools, like booking, payments, or a CRM?
Yes. Direct integration is a core part of what makes a custom build different from a template site. Booking systems, payment processors, internal tools: whatever the project needs, wired in properly rather than patched together with plugins.
How is this different from your WordPress and Shopify pages?
Those pages cover builds on WordPress and Shopify specifically. This page is for hand-built custom sites and lighter web apps that don't fit a platform. If what you need is a full software product behind a login, contact us and we'll scope that directly.
What determines the cost and timeline?
The most useful starting point is your budget. Tell us the number you have in mind and we'll tell you honestly what it can get you: the scope we'd recommend and the stack that makes the most of it. No budget in mind yet? Describe what you're building and we'll review it and come back with a scoped quote, usually within a day.
Can I see examples of sites you've built?
Most client work is covered under NDA, so we can't list it publicly. This site is a live example though: primocollab.com itself is a hand-built custom site. Reach out and we will walk you through relevant examples that match what you're building.
Do you work white label for agencies?
Yes. We build under NDA for design, dev, and marketing agencies who need extra development capacity. Deliverables carry your branding, not ours, and you set your own pricing to your client.
