Who we are
Primocollab Web Developer Services is a web development team based in the Philippines, operating primocollab.com. For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), we are the personal information controller for the data described in this policy.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and do our work:
- Contact and quote forms. Your name, email address, company or website if you share it, and whatever you write in your message.
- Call bookings. If you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email, and chosen time slot.
- Chat and support. If you use our chat box or open a support ticket, we receive your name, email, and the content of the conversation.
- Analytics. Standard usage data such as pages visited, approximate location, device, and how you found us, collected through analytics tools.
- Client project data. If you become a client, we handle the accounts, content, and technical access needed to build and maintain your site, under the terms of our engagement and any NDA in place.
How we use your data
We use the information above to reply to your inquiries, prepare quotes, deliver and support the work you hire us for, understand how our website is used so we can improve it, and meet legal or accounting obligations. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing emails you didn't ask for.
Legal basis
We process personal data when you have given consent (for example, by submitting a form), when processing is necessary to perform a contract with you or take steps before entering one (for example, preparing a quote), or when we have a legitimate interest, such as keeping our website secure and understanding how it performs. Where clients are located outside the Philippines, we also aim to follow the principles of regulations such as the GDPR.
Cookies & tracking
We keep this light. The site stores your theme preference (dark or light) in your browser's local storage, which involves no tracking. Our analytics tools may set cookies to distinguish visits; these do not identify you personally to us. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time without breaking the site.
Third-party services
A few carefully chosen services help us run this site, and each receives only what it needs to work:
- Scheduling (Calendly) for call bookings.
- Chat and ticketing (Tawk.to) for client support conversations.
- Analytics [e.g. Google Analytics 4] for anonymous usage statistics.
- Hosting and delivery [e.g. Cloudflare] to serve the website quickly and securely.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy, and we recommend reviewing those if you want the full picture of their practices.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data, ever. We share it only with the service providers listed above, with professionals such as accountants where required, or when the law requires us to. If we ever bring a specialist collaborator into your project, they only see what the project needs and work under the same confidentiality obligations we do.
How long we keep data
Inquiry messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the conversation and for a reasonable period afterward in case you come back. Client project records are kept for the duration of the engagement and afterward as required for legal and accounting purposes. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics tool, typically [14 months].
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to correct it if it's wrong, to object to processing, to ask for deletion where we have no remaining reason to keep it, and to receive a copy in a usable format. To exercise any of these, email us using the contact details below and we'll respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.
Security
We apply the same care to your data that we apply to client sites: access limited to the people who need it, reputable providers, encrypted connections, and credentials managed properly. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Children's privacy
Our services are for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us their data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes affecting how your data is handled, we'll make the change visible rather than bury it.
